The proposed Demutualization Bill will be presented in parliament in March, Finance Minister Ravi Karunananyake told Business Observer.
Karunanayake proposed this Bill in his budget speech. He is of the view that the introduction of the bill will make significant changes in the capital market sector with the Colombo Stock Exchange being converted into a company with shares being held by shareholders.
